1. Who can sell on Plumir?

Currently, only UK based creators can sell on Plumir. Your business must be registered in the UK, and all products must be shipped from within the country.

2. How do I start selling on Plumir?

  2. Name & Describe Your Store Add your store name and a short description so customers know what you’re all about.

  3. Activate Your Membership Join our membership and enjoy your first month free.

  4. Connect to Stripe Link your Stripe account to start accepting payments and maximize your earnings.

  5. Add Your Products Fill your store with what you’re selling, photos, prices, and details.

  6. Go Live & Start Selling Publish your store and start sharing it with the world!

3. What are the selling fees?

Plumir operates on a no-commission model:

4. How do I get paid?

Payments are processed securely and transferred to your UK bank account or PayPal. Payout times vary based on your payment provider.

5. Can I ship internationally?

At launch, Plumir is focused on UK only shipping to keep things simple for both buyers and sellers.

While sellers may choose to ship internationally independently, Plumir does not currently support international checkout, shipping rates, or customs handling.

We plan to introduce built in international shipping options in the future.

6. What happens if a buyer requests a return?

You set your own return policy, but all sellers are encouraged to provide clear refund and exchange guidelines.

7. How does Plumir support sellers?

We offer:

  2. Secure payments processed by Stripe, including encryption and fraud detection
  3. Seller verification and marketplace safeguards via Sharetribe

8. Do I need to be a registered business?

Yes. Sellers must be registered to operate in the UK and are responsible for complying with all relevant tax and business regulations.

9. Who handles customer service?

Sellers are responsible for managing customer enquiries, orders, shipping, and returns. Plumir provides support tools and assistance if issues arise.

10. Are there any restricted items?

Certain items are not permitted on Plumir, including illegal goods, counterfeit products, and restricted items. Sellers must ensure their listings comply with Plumir’s policies and UK law.

11. Can Plumir suspend or remove my shop?

Plumir reserves the right to suspend or remove shops that violate our terms, policies, or UK regulations.

1. What is Plumir?

Plumir is a UK based online marketplace connecting buyers with independent creators. We offer a unique selection of handcrafted, vintage, and custom made products from talented makers across the UK.

2. Where is Plumir available?

Plumir is currently only available for buyers and sellers within the United Kingdom. We plan to expand in the future!

3. How do I place an order?

5. How does shipping work?

All items are shipped from UK based sellers. Shipping costs, times, and policies vary by seller, so check individual shop details before purchasing.

6. Can I return an item?

Each seller sets their own return and refund policies. Please review the shop’s policy before purchasing.

If you experience an issue and are unable to resolve it directly with the seller, Plumir’s support team can step in to review the situation, help facilitate communication, and ensure the seller is acting in line with their stated policies and platform guidelines.

7. Is Plumir safe to shop on?

Yes! We use encrypted payment processing, secure checkout technology, and trusted payment providers to ensure a safe shopping experience. Sellers are verified, and our support team is here if you ever need help.

8. What if there’s a problem with my order?

If there’s an issue with your order, we recommend contacting the seller directly through Plumir first. If the issue isn’t resolved, our support team can step in to assist.

9. Can I cancel or change my order?

Order cancellations or changes depend on whether the seller has already started processing your order. Please contact the seller as soon as possible after placing your order.

10. Do prices include VAT?

Prices are set by individual sellers and may include VAT where applicable. Any applicable taxes will be clearly shown at checkout.
